The owner is in the adventure of acquiring land and developing it to maximize the hunting potential of 4 species – mallard ducks, Canada geese, Merriam’s and Rio Grande turkeys, and white-tailed deer. Each of which can be considered world-class in the area and on these properties. For 17 years, they have produced limits of waterfowl at an impressive consistency, turkey tags filled almost too quickly, and deer that have awarded bragging rights for years, and will for years to come!
The lands consist of river bottom woods, islands, swamps and sloughs, Russian olive trees and cedar cover. Their uplands are both grass and crops under center-pivot and gravity irrigation to grow corn and alfalfa.
